We invite you to join us for our 2025-2026 Fall Title I Parent Meeting on September 19, 2025, at Gaffney Middle School in the media center at 10:00 am and 4:30 pm. At this meeting, we will share how Title I resources support your child’s success, review our school goals, and discuss ways families and the school can work together. You’ll also have the opportunity to provide input on our Parent & Family Engagement Policy and School-Parent Compact. Your voice is essential as we work to “Be the STANDARD of Excellence” in Academics, Behavior, and Culture. We look forward to seeing you there! GO CHIEFS!

We are excited to announce that Gaffney Middle will be participating in the KIDZ in LIDS Initiative this Friday, August 29! Students and staff members who donate $1 will be allowed to wear a hat for the entire school day.
KIDZ in LIDS is sponsored by Children’s Cancer Partners, an organization that provides resources, community, and compassion to children with cancer and their families. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to not only contribute to a meaningful cause but also to experience firsthand the importance of giving back, serving others, and impacting their community.
Let’s come together as a school family and raise as much as we can for this worthy cause. Every dollar makes a difference, and every student can be part of something bigger than themselves.

GMS families, please see the MTSS Family Guide. MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) is a framework designed to ensure every student has access to strong core instruction (Tier 1) and additional support as needed (Tiers 2 and 3). The guide explains what MTSS is, how interventions are provided, and the important role families play in the process. We encourage you to review it carefully and reach out to our MTSS Chair, Dr. Kenya Kilgore, or any Administration if you have questions. Go Chiefs!
